“Friendly, patient-centred, individualized care is at the heart of my practice. I work collaboratively with each patient, providing education throughout treatment so they feel informed, confident, and able to take an active role in their recovery.”
Bukola completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and later completed a PhD in Ergonomics and Human Factors at Loughborough University in England. This background gives her a unique lens in clinical practice, helping her consider not only the injury itself, but also how work demands, lifestyle, movement patterns, environment, stress, and daily activities may contribute to pain, symptoms, and recovery.
Bukola treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions using an evidence-informed and individualized approach. Her treatment may include education, exercise therapy, manual therapy, movement retraining, acupuncture/IMS, and personalized rehabilitation planning. She has also completed training in vestibular rehabilitation and provides care for patients experiencing dizziness, balance concerns, and concussion-related symptoms.
Bukola also offers pelvic health physiotherapy for women and men. Her approach is respectful, private, and patient-centred, with a focus on helping patients feel comfortable discussing concerns that can often feel difficult to talk about.
Since coming to Victoria, Bukola has worked with a wide range of patients, including older adults, children, athletes, post-surgical clients, and injured workers. She is patient, approachable, and passionate about helping people understand their bodies, improve function, and build confidence in their recovery.
Outside of physiotherapy, Bukola enjoys data, technology, and creative problem-solving. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughter, friends, and family.
